Spooner Medical Administrators, Inc. Best Practices

At Spooner MAI, we have several best practices to help employers navigate through the complicated BWC system and help their employees get back to work as soon as possible.

What Are Our Best Practices?

One Point of Contact

Establishing one point of contact makes it easy for employers to know who to call with any questions.

Bi-Weekly Contact with Your Spooner MAI Team

We have bi-weekly contact with the Spooner Medical Administrative management team; it's a whole management team that goes along with the process of getting an employee back to work - it's not just one person.

Treatment Decisions Made by Experienced, Independent Nurses

It is very important to have treatment decisions made by an experienced and independent nurse. An independent nurse is someone who does not interact directly with the injured worker.

Customized Claim Reports

Over the years, our clients have requested customized claimed reports. We can generate those for each client. This includes web access to claim information/ reports and pharmacy reports.

URAC Accredited

We are also URAC accredited!
